This gantry packing machine is designed for bottled and canned products. The equipment consists of a gantry manipulator, an intelligent control system and a conveyor line, and the core components work together.

When the machine is working, the conveyor line transports the product to the designated station, the equipment automatically completes the size detection and automatic calibration parameters, and the manipulator accurately grabs and neatly stacks according to the preset method. The packing efficiency can reach 600 to 700 boxes per hour, which greatly improves the production capacity and significantly reduces the error rate compared to manual operation.

Background：In the field of fast-moving consumer goods manufacturing, the large-scale production of barreled edible oil faces the dual challenges of efficiency and labor costs. Solution：Facing the growing market pressure, Arawana has finally reached a cooperation with our company after multiple rounds of technical research and equipment evaluation, and introduced an intelligent gantry packing machine. The equipment is designed based on the concept of Industry 4.0, integrating core technologies such as visual recognition, servo drive, and motion control. It can accurately locate the position of barreled oil through a three-dimensional laser scanning system, and cooperate with an adaptive gripping manipulator to automatically complete complex processes such as oil grabbing, posture adjustment, and box arrangement, realizing unmanned operation of the entire process.

After the equipment was put into production, the packing efficiency of Arawana barreled oil has achieved a qualitative leap. The gantry packer has a stable output of 10 boxes per minute, which is 5 times more efficient than manual operation, and the daily production capacity has increased by more than 400%, effectively alleviating the pressure of order delivery. The intelligent operation mode also significantly reduces the product loss caused by manual intervention. Through the flexible gripping system and anti-collision algorithm, the appearance damage rate of barreled oil has dropped by 92%, and the packaging quality has reached the industry-leading level.

In addition to improving efficiency, the application of this equipment has also promoted the transformation of production management mode. Through the docking of the MES system, the packing machine can upload operation data in real time, helping enterprises to accurately grasp the status of equipment and calculate energy consumption indicators. At the same time, 80% of the manpower input in packing positions is reduced, and the released labor force can be transferred to technical positions such as quality inspection and equipment maintenance, which promotes the optimal allocation of enterprise human resources.
