Structural Framework
1. Truss Automatic Palletizer Main frame
Truss support structure
Material: High-strength aluminum alloy (lightweight) or steel structure (heavy-duty) is usually used to ensure overall rigidity and anti-deformation ability.
Gantry type: Double columns support the beam, suitable for large span and heavy load scenarios (such as logistics warehouses).
Cantilever type: Single-sided support, space-saving, suitable for production lines with limited space (such as small workshops).
Installation method: Erected above the production line or conveyor belt, fixed with anchor bolts or expansion screws to reduce ground occupation.
2. Truss Automatic Palletizer Track and beam
X-axis track: The main beam is used as the reference track for X-axis movement, usually a linear guide or gear rack structure.
Y/Z-axis track: Connected to the main beam through a slide or slider to form a vertical and longitudinal motion path.
Three-axis Motion System
1. X-axis (lateral motion)
Function: Horizontal movement left and right, covering the width range of the stacking area.
Implementation:
A servo motor is installed on the main beam to drive the gear rack, or the slide is pushed by a ball screw.
High-precision linear guides ensure smooth movement and repeatable positioning accuracy.
2. Y-axis (longitudinal movement)
Function: horizontal movement back and forth to control the depth position of the pallet.
Implementation:
Usually integrated on the X-axis slide, driven by a servo motor + ball screw.
Some designs use synchronous belt drive, which is suitable for light-load and high-speed scenarios.
3. Z-axis (vertical movement)
Function: lift up and down, adjust the grab and place height.
Implementation:
Vertical column or guide structure, with servo motor driven ball screw or chain (heavy-load type).
The end-mounted actuator interface supports quick replacement of fixtures.
Drive and transmission system
1. Truss Automatic Palletizer Power source
Servo motor: Each axis is equipped independently to achieve precise speed and position control (resolution up to ±0.01mm).
Reducer (optional): used to increase torque and adapt to heavy-load scenarios.
2. Transmission method
Ball screw: high precision, low friction, suitable for light and medium loads.
Gear rack: heavy load resistance, long stroke, suitable for large span trusses.
Synchronous belt: low cost, low noise, used in light load and high speed scenarios.
End Actuator
Clamp type
Mechanical gripper: suitable for regular shaped materials such as boxes and bags.
Vacuum suction cup: used for flat surfaces (such as cartons and glass plates).
Electromagnetic suction cup: dedicated to metal materials (such as steel plates and metal cans).
Customized clamp: designed for special shapes (such as drums and special-shaped parts).

Extended function
Rotary axis (R axis): integrated at the end of the Z axis to achieve material direction adjustment (0-360° rotation).
Force control device: detect the clamping force to prevent material damage (such as palletizing of fragile items).
